Dennis Cox Accepts Chairmanship of the Securities Institute Risk Forum
Dennis Cox, the Managing Director of Risk Reward Limited, has accepted the Chairmanship of the Risk Forum. This grouping is one of the Securities Institute’s professional interest forums. Dennis is already a member of the Editorial Board of Securities and Investment Review.
The Risk Forum aims to promote proactive discussion and consultation among the members of the Securities Institute regarding risk issues, which have come to the fore with the publication in the UK of CP 142 and globally with the publication of the revised Basel Accord.
“This is an exciting time for both Risk Management and the Risk Forum” said Dennis, “I am looking forward to the development of this body to stimulate debate and compare best practice within the Securities Industry. So often when new ideas are promulgated within risk management, the securities industry is not adequately considered. I hope that we will be able to redress this imbalance”.
