Dennis Cox accepts Deputy Chairmanship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Interim Management Special Interest Group
Dennis Cox, the Chief Executive of Risk Reward Limited has accepted the position as Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants new interim management special interest group.
This new grouping has been developed by the Institute to offer support in response to a growing number of chartered accountants who are working as interim managers. According to a recent survey carried out by the Institute, many members became interim managers as a deliberate choice rather than being dictated by circumstances, and cite the quality of life and the quality of work, as well as the variety of work as reasons for making the change.
Dennis Cox said, “I am pleased to be involved with the development of this new venture. Interim management is becoming an increasingly important career choice for many chartered accountants, whose needs have been poorly served by existing bodies to date. This new grouping aims to fill the void that exists and provide industry with a better supply of quality trained chartered accountants able to accept positions as chartered accountants.”
To find out more about the group call Charmaine D’Souza at the Institute on 020 7920 8504 or e-mail her at charmaine.d’souza@icaew.co.uk.
